Great experience. We took a single session from Ricky and the beginners were worked through the fundamentals to be able to catch waves on their own. We then rented stuff... read more for the next few days to surf on our own and Matt guided us on where and when to go. Absolutely standup guys. Recommend them for any type of surfer. They'll get you right.

At the end of one lesson, I understood where to surf for my level, the sight lines to the beach for the breaks, and I felt confident enough to rent the same equipment and get out there on the water for the next 3 days. Matt was super organized and professional in his communications - recommend to start be giving him a call when you want to surf in San Clemente area! He had excellent followup at every stage over text.
